CE

CE is an abbreviation of the French ‘Conformité Européenne. This means: in conformity with the European Directive. A product fitted with this mark meets the European legislation concerning hygiene, safety and environmental friendliness.
The importance of the CE mark:
1. If a product is fitted with the CE mark it means that the product is reported and registered at the European Committee and that the product was found to be suitable for the European market
2. Products with a CE mark are allowed to be transported freely within the EU boundaries
3. Without CE mark the product can be removed from the market.
